PADI Deep Diver Specialty

Take your diving deeper — literally. The PADI Deep Diver Specialty is designed for certified divers who want to safely explore depths beyond 60 feet and experience the thrill of deeper wrecks, walls, and reefs down to 100–130 feet (within recreational limits and training standards).

At American Pro Diving Center, this course gives you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to plan and execute deep dives safely and responsibly.

What You’ll Learn

✔ Deep dive planning and gas management

✔ Understanding nitrogen narcosis and how to manage it

✔ Emergency procedures specific to deep diving

✔ Proper use of dive computers and backup planning

✔ Safety stops, ascent rates, and surface intervals

✔ Managing air consumption at depth

You’ll complete knowledge development and four open water deep dives, applying real-world skills under the supervision of a PADI Professional.
